Processing Activities

Collection of General Information When Visiting Our Website

Type and Purpose of Processing

When you access our website, i.e., when you do not register or otherwise transmit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and similar.

They are processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a problem-free connection to the website

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively should concrete indications point to unlawful use.

Legal Basis and Legitimate Interest

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website as well as ensuring system security and abuse detection.

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Storage Duration

Data is stored in server log files in a form that enables identification of the data subjects for a maximum of 14 days, unless a security-relevant event occurs (e.g., a DDoS attack).

In the event of such an incident, server log files are stored until the security-relevant event is eliminated and fully clarified.

Provision Required or Mandatory

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, individual services and features may not be available or may be restricted.

Objection

Please read the information about your right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR below.

Contact

Type and Purpose of Processing

Contact can be made via the provided email addresses. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the email is stored. This includes the date and time of email transmission, email address, IP addresses as well as information about the servers involved in email communication.

You can contact us via the provided telephone numbers. In this case, we collect protocol data that includes your telephone number and the duration of the call.

Regardless of the chosen form of communication, we collect the content of your inquiry. Your data is stored for the purpose of individual communication with you.

Legal Basis

The processing of data is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Our legitimate interest in processing your data is to enable uncomplicated contact.

If you contact us to request an offer, the processing of data is carried out for the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Storage Duration

Data is deleted no later than six months after processing the contact request.

If a contractual relationship is established, we are subject to legal retention periods. These are generally 6 or 10 years for reasons of proper bookkeeping and tax law requirements.

Provision Required or Mandatory

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your inquiry if you provide us with the necessary data and the reason for the inquiry.

Objection

Please read the information about your right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR below.

Appointment booking via meetergo

Type and Purpose of Processing

The appointment buttons on our website open a booking calendar. It is provided by meetergo GmbH, Hauptstrasse 44, 40789 Monheim am Rhein, Germany, via cal.meetergo.com. Clicking the button first shows only a notice; the calendar is loaded only once you explicitly confirm that notice with “Load calendar”. Until then, no connection to meetergo is established and no data is transmitted there.

When you open the calendar, meetergo briefly records your IP address, the referrer URL and the time of access. According to the provider, this access data is used solely to deliver the service technically and is deleted automatically afterwards. If you book an appointment, we process the details you provide – in particular your name, e-mail address, preferred date and any voluntary information about your request – in order to prepare and hold the meeting.

Legal Basis

The booking calendar is loaded on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you give by confirming the notice (“Load calendar”). The booking data is processed in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in making it easy to arrange an appointment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Recipients

The recipient of the data is meetergo GmbH, acting for us as a processor. We have concluded a data processing agreement with them under Art. 28 GDPR.

Processing takes place in member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area. According to the provider, the meetergo web application runs on servers in Germany. meetergo uses further subprocessors; the current list, including processing location and transfer mechanism, is published by the provider at help.meetergo.com/de/legal/list-of-subprocessors.

Storage Duration

Data recorded in the booking calendar is deleted there automatically after 14 days. Beyond that, we process your details only for as long as required for the purpose for which they were collected. If a contractual relationship arises, the data stored by us is subject to the statutory retention periods of generally 6 or 10 years.

Provision Required or Mandatory

Use of the booking calendar is voluntary. You can also reach us by e-mail or telephone. However, without the details marked as required in the booking form we cannot confirm an appointment.

Withdrawal

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by closing the booking area again or leaving the page; the next time you visit, the calendar will again only be loaded after explicit confirmation. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.

Cookies

A cookie is a small set of data that is stored on your device when you visit a website and that can be sent back to the server on a later visit.

Our website does not set any cookies of its own. When you open the site, no information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to display the page. We do not use any analytics, tracking or audience measurement services.

Fonts, images and all other parts of the page are served exclusively from our own server. In particular, no fonts are loaded from external providers (such as Google Fonts), so simply opening the page does not create a connection to any third party.

There is one exception: the meetergo booking calendar. If you explicitly load it (see Appointment booking via meetergo), the provider may set its own cookies as part of that embedded content. Without your consent the calendar is not loaded.

Deleting Cookies

You can review the cookies stored in your browser at any time, delete them individually or entirely, and block them from being stored in the first place. You will find the relevant settings in the help pages of your browser provider.

Information About Your Right to Object According to Art. 21 GDPR

Individual Case-Based Right to Object

You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balancing of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR.

If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.
